Emerging Leaders of Color (Great Lakes) Professional Development Fellowships available: apply by March 1
Americans for the Arts announces a March 1 deadline for applications for its Professional Development Fund for Emerging Arts Leaders of Color.
A total of five Joyce Fellows from the Great Lakes region (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin) will be selected to participate in this program in 2010/11.The fellowship are made possible with support from the Chicago-based Joyce Foundation.
Fellows will receive stipends of $3,000 to support their attendance at the 2010 Americans for the Arts Half Century Summit (June 25-27, Baltimore), the 2010 National Arts Marketing Project Conference (November 12-15, San Jose), Arts Advocacy Day 2011 (TBA, Washington, DC). In addition, fellows will have special opportunities to meet field leaders and receive individualized career coaching.
