Overview:

The Arts and Industry Council Announces MCACA Mini-grant Program 2010 Recipients for Region 16

The Arts & Industry Council is the designated administrator of the Minigrant program for Region 16, which includes Branch, Calhoun, Hillsdale, Jackson and Lenawee Counties. The Minigrant program provides funding for locally developed, high quality arts and cultural projects which increase public access to arts and culture and address local arts and culture needs. Eligible organizations may request up to $3,000; on a one-to-one matching basis (may be cash or in-kind goods or services). All non-profit organizations in these counties, including service organizations, arts organizations, parks and recreational organizations, churches, professional associations, public and non-public schools, cities, townships, counties and villages are eligible to apply.

 Recipients for 2010 are: 

Jackson Storyfest - Jackson, Michigan
W.G. Thompson Foundation - Hudson, Michigan
Kids 'N' Stuff - Albion, Michigan
Lenawee Council for the Visual Arts - Adrian, Michigan
Young Michigan Dances - Coldwater, Michigan
Tecumseh Youth Theatre - Tecumseh, Michigan






This program is administered by the Arts & Industry Council, and is funded by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.

Eligibility Details: Organization must be in one of the following counties: Branch, Calhoun, Hillsdale, Jackson and Lenawee Counties. The Minigrant program provides funding for locally developed, high quality arts and cultural projects which increase public access to arts and culture and address local arts and culture needs.

Workshops: There are no Grant-writing workshops scheduled at this time.
