Wind Down Your Work Week This Friday – Free Outdoor Movie
Downtown Battle Creek, June 14, 2010 — Join in the summer festivities downtown as the first of three outdoor movies debuts this Friday, June 18 at Mill Race Park!
There is just something about doing indoor things outdoors. Come downtown and watch Where the Wild Things Are under the stars. Breathe in the fresh air as you experience downtown in a way you may not have done before!
Where the Wild Things Are will start at dusk, so be sure to come down early to pick your spot and relax! The Outdoor Movie is FREE and open to the public. Seating is festival style on a first come, first serve basis. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, pillows, sleeping bags or whatever else it takes to make you comfortable. If it makes you feel better, you can bring the couch along!
Additional outdoor movies are set for July 16 and August 20; both will be shown after the evening performances of the Vibe@5 Concert Series.
